These are the pictures I took with my camera. I will swap these out when my neighbor takes a better photo. When I first saw this stamp set, Hanging Out, I immediately thought of christmas stockings hanging on the fire place even though it is a summer themed stamp set. I went through the CDS designer gallery to see if anyone else had the same idea, but I didn't see one like it. Yay for me! I didn't know what I would do to make it look like the stockings were on the fireplace so I sponged in some red and yellow to give the illusion of a fire. The patterned paper and the tree came from Bitty Scrap-Pads "it's Christmas". I stamped each stocking on a different sheet of PP and then pasted them onto the clothes line.
Here's the specs:

This is my Beautiful Ballerina! I saw a layout in Traci Major's blog that I liked. You can visit her blog here. I left out one element from the layout because it would have covered the background too much.

Hi Karen! This is one supercute Bee-utiful Ballerina card! I love the layout and the colors that you used, too!
ReplyDeleteAnd your "Hanging Out" card is very creative with the Christmas stocking angle...I never even thought of that! Cute paper and colors on that one!
ReplyDeleteI like the Christmas stocking one the best, the layout works really well and the colors and the trees are great choices.
ReplyDeleteThe bee ballerina is cute, I'm just wondering if, since it is a ballerina, she might like a bit of ribbon over the black, to help her tie her tutu. :)
These are really cute! I like the Christmas one best & it looks like a real fire in there! Good job!
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteBoth are darling cards. Love the way you did your christmas stockings hanging by the fire!
