For Grandma Virginia

Grandma Virginia is a foster grandma to my work. We talk fiber arts a lot. She enjoys looking at my creations and we enjoy talking about patterns, projects and yarn. I made a baby blanket recently and she liked it saying that she would like to have something to put on her bed ontop of her blanket. Little did she know that I already had this one started. I found the pattern out of circular baby blankets. I used a larger needle (which makes the project larger) and added an extra row to make the blanket bigger. I finished it tonight and will give it to her on Monday.
I am on a yarn fast this year to force myself to use up yarn in my stash. I only had 5 skeins of this color. I did have to go to the store and buy one skein to finish the project. I don't think that was too much of an infringement on my fast as I only needed one skein and it was to finish a project in process.
