MMSC #35

My stampin' mojo left me. This is my submission for Midnight Madness. It is not an impressive card. I found an image I had already colored a couple of months ago. I took apart my failed card from last week and reused the big circle dp. I do like the orange flower and gigantic button and the stickles on her hat. I just didn't have it in me today to make a WOW card.
I think my mind is preoccupied with the upcoming on-line course I am starting on Tuesday. It is a 3 week, 3 credit course requiring at least 15 hours each week. I am nervous about working full time, taking care of a family and taking this class. So, something has to give. I will be taking a break from Midnight Madness for these three weeks. When you don't see me you know why! I am sure I will be more than ready to return to the sketches when the class is over.

  1. Karen: Good luck with your on-line classes. There are not enough hours in a day sometimes, is there!! We'll miss you the few weeks you will be doing your school work. This card is cute just as it is!!! I love the image and the nice big flower and button. Lots of inspiring eye appeal!!! Thanks for giving the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge a whirl. Have a very Happy Creative New Year!

  2. Okay, I think my first comment disappeared. Pearls of wisdom perpetually lost in cyberspace. Here goes again. You can do it with that class! Go girl, go! I know it will be hard and you'll miss stamping. I'll miss your cards! This is cute just as it is. The button on top of the flower is a great touch.

  3. Karen, she's still a cute little fairy! Of course, you know what the real problem is with the card. The fairy would TELL you and SNIFF out the problem if she could. tee-hee! At least there's no paisley, so it is a pretty card after all! I'm sorry you have to take the continuing ed course, but I know it's important to stay certified & up to date. Then again, after three weeks of this, you may become certifiable, and that's a different issue. It means you can join me in that happy place! :)
