American Basket

this is an American Basket I designed for my brother. I dyed the red and blue reeds and had to paint the white ones. To add a final touch I embellished the handle.

Desk Organizer Basket

This is a desk organizer basket. It sits on my desk in my office and house all of my pens and pencils. It is a cute little basket.

Nantucket Basket

This is a nantucket basket. I have two nantucket molds. This shallow mold which I believe is a 6 or 8 inch mold and a deeper one which is a bit larger. The baskets do not nest.

this is a fishing creel basket I made for a friend of my husband's. The top and the latch is pre-made. I think I used a homemade walnut stain for this basket.

This is a picnic basket with a pre-made bottom, handle and lid. The finished basket is then stained with fruitwood Danish Oil.

a few more cards. The card with the butterfly is actually on a glittery paper. It doesn't show up very well here.

Just Ducky

I saw this stamp last week when browsing SCS. On my way to my brother's house for Easter I stopped at a stamp store and they had it! I just love this stamp! This card was made for my niece, who is in the hospital. I had very limited supplies as I was at my brother's house and only had the supplies I brought with me. Not bad for a quick and easy card.

Some more examples of my work

This is another card for the order of 8 Mother's day cards. I had purchased some really neat butterfly 12x12 card stock, but it just wasn't working for this card. I like the simplicity and layout of this card.

Eunice, Oh Eunice!

My MIL sent me the cutest little birthday card. It inspired me to make this card using my Eunice stamp. I think the stamp and the saying are perfect for eachother.

Splitcoast Challenge SC 135

I needed a little creative mojo today and when I need that I like to go to the splitcoast stampers sketch challenges. I found this sketch (SC135) and knew it would be a great one. I have a small order to fill of 8 mother's day cards and 4 birthday cards. This is the first of the Mother's Day cards. I just bought the pattern paper stack today at Michael's, using my 40% off coupon. I layered that on a piece of certain celery CS. I ran the corners of the bashful blue CS through my cuttlebug which I might add was a bit tricky. The flower is popped out on pop dots.
I am very happy with this card.

Breathe, Tilda, Breathe!

The image for this card was compliments from my friend, Traci M. (thanks, Traci!) I find Tilda's lack of nose and mouth quite disturbing. I thought I could draw one in for her to help her breathe. I tried on another image and it looked awful. So, poor Tilda will go without half of her facial features.
The pattern paper came from a stack called "Nana's kids with glitter". It has a lot of nice paper in it.
